I’m happy to announce that I will be giving a series of talks at a number of branches of the Mid-Continent Public Library in the eastern and northern Missouri suburbs of Kansas City this coming Spring 2019. In my programme, Discovering Ancient Ireland, I will lead the audience on a personal tour of a number of Ancient Irish sites, including the Hill of Tara and Newgrange in the Brú na Bóinne in County Meath, Croagh Patrick in County Mayo, Benbulbin in County Sligo, and Glencolmcille in County Donegal.
Along the way I’ll tell personal stories of my visits and tours of Ireland from 2010 and 2016, which can be found in great detail in my book Travels in Time Across Europe.
The talks will be:
- 9 February 2019 at 3:00 pm: Camden Point Branch, Mid-Continent Public Library. 401 Hardesty St., Camden Point, MO 64108
- 2 March 2019 at 2:00 pm: Raytown Branch, Mid-Continent Public Library. 6131 Raytown Rd., Raytown, MO 64133
