Welcome to the webpage of the Amergin Film Company. Fáilte an leathanaigh gréasáin an Chuideachta Scannán na hAmairgen. Bienvenue à la page web de l’Amergin Film Company. The AFC is a small independent film studio headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri in the United States. It was founded in June 2012 by filmmaker and writer Seán Kane as a successor to his old studio, Telefís Cluain Shaorise (TCS), which was named for the farm on which Kane grew up in western Kansas City, Kansas.

The AFC is officially a trilingual studio, with a policy of producing its films in Irish, English, and French, the three languages spoken by its founder and Executive Producer, Seán Kane. This continues on the heritage laid down by the AFC’s predecessor studio, the TCS, which promoted Irish language filmmaking. All of its films include subtitles in each of these three languages, with animated features offering recordings at the very least in two of the three.

The AFC works in cooperation with a number of partner organisations in the process of its filmmaking. These include a partnership with Chaos Lemon Studios of Overland Park, Kansas, whose director Mitch Hecht is in charge of AFC Music. The AFC has also partnered with CC Braids of Kansas City, Missouri for hair design for the actresses.

All of the AFC’s films are broadcasted on its YouTube channel.
